Update on Hudson Yards' 'Hudson Rise'

Last September Kuafu Properties filed permits for a 700 foot tall, 42-story mixed-use tower at 470 11th Ave at Hudson Yards. The 417,927 SF building was to feature 47 condos, 242 hotel rooms and 108 condo-hotel rooms. Renderings for the so-called "Hudson Rise" building were revealed earlier that year, in May. Now there's news about a few changes, NY YIMBY reported. For instance, the new numbers are 320k SF total, with 34k SF of retail, a 240-key hotel, 88 "lifestyle" condos and 42 actual condos. The glass facade on the building's lower level has been switched out for masonry. The relatively short tower still has a distinctive design up top, and the penthouse will be one of the first in New York to have its own infinity pool. Among the luxurious amenities, the standout will be a business elite Shanghai Club. The tower is supposedly targeting Chinese and Asian buyers. The architect is Goldstein Hill & West, with Archilier Architects designing. [NYY]
