This Morning with RENT; Beacon Renovations

Hours ago, we took respite from this muggy weather with Real Estate Networking & Transactions, at its monthly meeting in the Williams Club. For an industry that can notoriously handle late night events (documented in our pages), you sure are chipper and optimistic in the morning.
Sholom & Zuckerbrot's John Ritter; Sotheby's Intl. Realty's Pauline Evans, Citrin Cooperman's Scott Rutter, LandStar Title's Marco Botarelli, and Johnson Capital's Lino DiLascio, R.E.N.T chair. The group is unique in that no two members are in the same specialty, from leasing to appraisal. Lino tells us that it's looking to expand even more, bringing nationwide developers and investors into the mix.
Arthur J. Gallagher's John Felter; Vanderbilt Appraisal's Heather Hassan; Herrick Feinstein's Ted Rosen (who was the man of the hour for all the referrals and help he's given other members), and EnviroFinance Group's Steve Parnes. Heather tells that she's seeing a steady amount of activity, especially in refinancing. We heard other bits of positivity, including more momentum in the real estate market, and members hope that September picks up the slack after the usual summer slowdown.
The members may not share the same real estate specialties, but they have one thing in common--the ability to keep their eyes open for the group shot, despite the early morning meeting. We salute you!
