Cambria SuitesSVP Michael Murphy (third from left) felt like “a guest at Willy Wonka's chocolate factory” when he and other Choice Hotels officials and development partners rang the opening bell at the NYSE last Friday, after investing $141M and breaking ground on three Cambria Suites hotels in 24 hours (30 W 46th St and 123-125 W 28th St in Manhattan, and 250 Main St in White Plains). Choice Hotels has been eyeing the market for two years and hopes to enjoy the market’s 90% occupancy, he says.
