NYU professor and Counselors of Real Estate chair Hugh Kelly spoke at last week’s MIPIM conference in France. Cities that never sleep make for high-performance centers for real estate investment, he says. NYC, Boston, Chicago, DC, and San Fran are already 24-hour, but others are working to become like them, to attract young pros to vibrant, convenient, live-work-play settings.

Eastern Consolidated’s Adelaide Polsinelli, Chris Matousek, and Jamie Rogovin were in Miami recently to help their clients celebrate the $30M sale of 530 Lincoln Rd. Gloria Estefan’s family once owned the two-story building, which was until recently The Van Dyke Cafe and music venue. Eastern Consolidated met with several owners during the trip and is launching a South Florida retail sales team.
