Congrats to Muss Development's Joshua Muss, who received the Leadership in Commerce and Industry award from NAACP's Brooklyn chapter, citing his strong financial sponsorship and successful Minority Women Business Enterprise program during the expansion of Downtown Brooklyn's New York Marriott. Chapter president Karin Boykin-Towns noted that MWBE employment at the Marriott hit 35% of all jobs at the project, with over $15M of business conducted with MWBE firms during the construction of the hotel's expansion tower. Other honorees included Radio Soleil D' Haiti, Con Edison, and Fulton Street business owner Betty Long.
