MEET OUR SPONSOR: 1330 AVENUE OF THE AMERICAS

Since Otera Capital and CWCapital took ownership of 1330 Avenue of the Americas in June ‘09, the building has signed or is in the process of completing 10 deals, including Harry Winston’s 10.4-SF renewal, The Robert Wood Johnson Foundation’s 4.7k-SF lease, Beacon Light Capital’s 3.2k-SF lease, and Advanced Portfolio Management’s 4.5k-SF lease. Just this quarter, the leasing team also completed an 8.5k-SF transaction for Belstar Group, 10.4k-SF for Allianz Risk Transfer, and 6.4k-SF for Servcorp. Jones Lang LaSalle’s Cynthia Wasserberger, who leases the building with colleagues Frank Doyle, David Kleiner, and Alexis Tener, tells us that the 534k-SF boutique building has prime availability, including a 63k-SF contiguous block on floors 2 through 5.

1330 is also undergoing a high-end pre-built program led by Gensler; it’s built six spaces from 2.1k to 5.9k-SF, already leasing four. Two are available, and Cynthia tells us that ownership is building two more on the 22nd floor. She took us up to the 36th floor to get a taste of the bright, spacious pre-builts, which include marble corridors and reception areas, floor-to-ceiling glass, and modern linear lighting. Interested in joining tenants like Pearson, Silvercrest Asset Management, and Stein Roe Investment Counsel? The building can accommodate nearly any sized tenant and offers a wide variety of pricing. Bonus: amazing views of Central Park from the top floor, while the lower can watch bustling Sixth Avenue.
