Thursday, the Realty Foundation of New York honored real estate icon Larry Silverstein at its 59th annual luncheon at the Waldorf. We snapped Larry, center, with Foundation prezDale Hemmerdinger and chairman Jerry L. Cohen, Urstadt Biddle chair Charles Urstadt, wife Klara, daughter-in-law Stacey, and son Roger. Larry--who'll this year step down as Silverstein Properties CEO but remain chairman--"has been and is a role model for us all in creativity, intelligence, tenacity, and real estate savvy," says Fried Frank partnerJonathan Mechanic. Massey Knakal CEO Paul Massey on Larry: "Leaders like him--especially when we faced epic challenges--make me proud to be in this industry." .
