| Later, we joined hundreds at Association for a Better Long Island and Commercial Industrial Brokers Society of Long Island's annual dinner at Carlyle on the Green in Bethpage. CIBS president Jeffrey Schwartzberg of Sutton & Edwards and ABLI president Mitchell Rechler of Rechler Equity Partners presented Blumenfeld Development Group's Ed Blumenfeld with Developer of the Year for work on Tanger Outlet Center at The Arches in Deer Park. Those who no longer have to drive to Riverhead for designer duds also salute you, Ed. |
| Lifetime Achievement Award winner Fred Colin accepts the honor with family by his side. His decades in Long Island grew from a portfolio of over 125 gas stations to office and industrial buildings, supermarkets, and a wide variety of single-tenant retail properties. |
| The evening's other honoree: Cushman & Wakefield's Ted Stratigos, who won Most Ingenious Deal of the Year (his third time!) for Leviton Manufacturing's 135k SF HQ move to Melville. He also recently received RXR Realty's 2008 Broker of the Year Award for brokering the 10-year, 35k SF Forchelli Curto lease at RXR's Omni building in Uniondale. Congrats all! |
