IBEX’s Big Holiday Bash

Everybody should have fun and enjoy themselves, whether it’s good times or bad, IBEX Construction chair Andy Frankl told us last night during the firm’s holiday party at the AIA Center for Architecture in Manhattan. And what a party Ibex threw—executives from all phases of the construction and design industry packed three floors. Andy Frankl, TSC Design’s Lena Hamlin, and AIA New York Chapter exec director Rick Bell welcome incoming AIA New York president and Mancini Duffy chair Anthony Schirripa (second from right). The association held its 2009 Board Inaugural earlier in the night.

David tells us he’s trying to keep busy, but knows it’s slow in the industry when he eats too much during the holidays. Will stepping on a scale in January be a market indicator?
Innoeventi’s Faviola Mercado; Steven Kratchman Architect’s Tom Palumbo; Janet Palumbo; and Callison’s Mario Puerta. Mario tells us that Callison collaborated with Victoria’s Secret for the design of its New York City flagship store on 58th and Lex, which opened last week. We forgot to ask him if he met the ribbon-cutting Heidi Klum.
