Bisnow’s very own David "Niner" Neinstein (bottom left) may resent our Nickelback reference in the headline, but he is indeed on his way to becoming a rock star. Niner’s band, Anyway, recently played for 65 people (including the Bisnow-employed fans above) at its first gig, at the venerable Arlene’s Grocery. The most popular song from the show, “Long Black Room,” is available at www.anywayband.com. He plays guitar, former Bisnow reporter Jeff Gamsey is on keys, Michael Duran is the drummer, and Justin Brewer handles vocals and bass. Next chances to see them in action: April 8 at 10pm at Otto’s Shrunken Head and May 17 at 8pm at The Trash Bar.
