At Rue 57, we snapped Sabre's Russell Helbling and Kenny Breslin bookending Sandy Weiss of Anthony's Coal Fired Pizza. The "Italian soul food" eatery, which Sabre reps, is sniffing around for expansion opps in markets like Philly and Boston, and its next two openings are in Bohemia, Long Island (January), and Pittsburgh (February). Anthony's has 34 restaurants in the Northeast and Florida, and the company plans to open eight more.
We also snapped Blumenthal Development's Jon Cohen, Starbucks' John Bell, BankUnited's Cory Prinz, Sabre's Jayson Siano, and Bohler Engineering's Joe Deal. Sabre's helping Starbucks expand in Long Island and Northern NJ, and Jayson says the caffeine purveyor is aggressive in both markets, especially for drive-through locations.
