BUILDING CONGRESS HONORS FOUR

Last week, 900 members of the building community gathered at the Grand Hyatt for either the most boring fashion show (center model excluded), or more likely to pay tribute to four industry greats at the NY Building Congress’ ‘09 Industry Recognition Dinner. Pictured are honorees Edward Cruz (EE Cruz & Co.) and Boston Properties’Robert Selsam, Special Recognition for Public Service honoree Janette Sadik-Khan (NYC DOT), George A. Fox Public Service Award honoree Frank Sciame (F.J. Sciame Construction Co.), and NYBC chair Stuart Graham.
Metropolitan Transportation Authority chairman Jay Walder, who assumed his new position last month after being nominated by Governor Paterson and confirmed by the State Senate, and NYBC prez Richard Anderson. Also in attendance: NYS comptroller Thomas DiNapoli.
