Big Project Progress: 3 Hudson Blvd & Atlantic Yards

The Moinian Group revealed more renderings (from Neoscape) of the company's 3 Hudson Blvd on 11th between 34th and 35th, our first look inside of the developer's 1.9M SF contribution to the Far West Side skyline. Here's the second floor lobby overlooking the planned Hudson Boulevard Park. (MC Escher would be proud of those stairs.)

And Forest City Ratner and Skanska put the first module in place at B2, Atlantic Yards' first residential building and the world's tallest modular building. Forest City Ratner's Melissa Burch tells us the project is the future of high-rise housing. The last of the remaining 927 modules, being constructed in a 100k SF factory in the Brooklyn Navy Yard will be bolted into place a year from now.
