RideScout and Other Updates

RideScout promised us it would expand this summer, and the DC and Austin-based startup kept its word. The app, which helps people find and use ground transportation, expanded its service from five US cities to 69. Cofounders Joseph Kopser and Craig Cummings are here with advisor (and former US CTO) Aneesh Chopra. Another update: Startupland, a documentary web series about five DC tech entrepreneurs that debuted in March, launched globally this week with screenings in over 50 cities.
