The auction of a lunch date with Warren Buffett has fetched a cool $2.3M this year. Chinese game developer Dalian Zeus Entertainment Co. secured the winning bid from the Glide Foundation, which has raised $17.9M over the past 15 years from the auctions. The annual event typically lasts about three hours and covers a variety of topics. Proceeds from the auction are used to help the poor and homeless in San Francisco. Winners often dine at Smith & Wollensky steakhouse in NYC or one of Buffett’s favorite steakhouses in Omaha, NE. [WaPo]
