New $250M Soccer Stadium Approved By LA City Council

A new $250M stadium is coming to Exposition Park after the LA City Council unanimously approved the project last week.

The 22,000-seat stadium will be built for the LA Football Club.

The site will include more than 140k SF of public space, a conference center, new restaurants and a soccer museum, according to LAist.

Private funds will pay for the stadium without any money from the city's general fund, according to team officials.

The project is scheduled to be completed by 2018. [LAist]
