Equinix is tripling down on Singapore. The company is developing a third 385k SF data center in the Asian city, with the help of Mapletree Industrial Trust, for about $55M.Itwill offer 1,000 cabinets in the first phase. Singapore is one of the fastest-growing cloud adopters in Asia-Pacific, fueled by the rapid growth in adoption of social networking,as well as the consumption of new forms of digital content, says Equinixs President Samuel Lee.
