Colliers Taps Minnesota’s WelshCo, Adds 240 New Employees

Colliers International Group Inc. announced it purchased longtime affiliate WelshCo LLC in a move that expands Colliers deeper into Minnesota.

Welsh specializes in the Minneapolis-St. Paul area and offers investment sales, a lease brokerage and other services to commercial real estate owners and occupiers, Nasdaq reports. Colliers Central president Steve Everbach said the deal steps up Colliers’ business in the Midwest and will strengthen the company on a national level by letting the firm leverage its business in other regions.

"The Midwest is thriving and Colliers continues to enhance its market leading platform and pursue strategic growth in this important region," Colliers International president Marty Pupil said in a statement.
