A group of investors has completed the acquisition of 50 Music Square West, the distinctive octagonal building on Music Row and the tallest building in the vicinity. The investors, led by hotel owner Jay Patel, have spent nearly $6M over the past year to buy the mostly vacant building, first buying the lower eight floors last year, and most recently the penthouse.
What now for the 56k SF building? So far, no plans have been unveiled, but the property's zoned for high-intensity office or residential use, the Nashville Business Journal reports. Residential development is ongoing next door, where a new apartment building is underway on the rest of the same block. [NBJ]
