Highwoods Properties Plans Office Space In Brentwood

Raleigh-based Highwoods Properties paid $9M for land across from Brentwood Academy, where it plans as much as 218k SF of office space.

Construction might begin as soon as the end of this year, with completion in mid-2018. This project would be in addition to the 850k SF of office space the company already has underway in the metro, the Nashville Business Journal reports, and the projects it has completed (such as the Pinnacle at Symphony Space, pictured).

The company aims to take advantage of the high demand for Class-A space in Williamson County, and the meager supply. [NBJ]
