Infrastructure Gets Boost In Proposed Budget

What's in Mayor Megan Barry's proposed budget for the kinds of nuts-and-bolts infrastructure that helps keep real estate values solid? For now, $35M for street paving, $30M for sidewalk construction, and $24.5M for roads and bridges. Her spending plans also allocate $20M for Nashville MTA to buy new buses and roll out a mobile fare system, along with $10M to improve traffic light signaling.
