At least that's what Banc of California wants you to think with its gorgeous repositioning in Century City. Private Banking Operation SVP Farah Ansari tells Bisnow the bank opened a first-of-its kind private client center at 10100 Santa Monica Blvd, which consists of more than 4k SF that was once completely unused. She says the space is not your typical retail bank environment, with its high-end feel featuring a client lounge, banking offices and workspaces.

Farah says clients include developers, property managers and other real estate professionals—both individuals and companies, in addition to other professionals ranging from the entertainment industry to restaurants to business managers and attorneys.

Ground space in Century City is at an absolute premium and the bank now has quite the footprint with its branch on Century Park East. Farah says the high-end service branch creates a one-stop-shop experience, which creates the type of environment where clients want to hang out, whether between meetings or running errands.
