LA Times Building May Sell To Onni Group

Vancouver's Onni Group could purchase the landmark LA Times building at 202 West First St near City Hall in downtown LA.

The developer has entered into a preliminary agreement to buy the building, which it could make into retail space, offices and possibly some residential units, according to the LA Times.

The building is rented to other tenants in addition to housing the offices of the LA Times.

It is unclear whether the Times would stay in the building if the deal goes through. [LAT]
