JH Snyder's 1601 Vine Breaks Ground

Work is underway on a 110k SF office development in Hollywood from JH Snyder, according to Building Los Angeles. The $70M project, which has been more than a year in the making, was designed by Gensler and is expected to deliver in 2016. In addition to the office space, the project will have about 2,000 SF of retail on the ground floor and underground parking. We caught up with Jerry Snyder a few months back, and he told us he's got some $600M of development in progress.

The 1601 Vine St project is just the latest in a run of new Hollywood development. Kilroy is investing about $300M for its Academy Square project (one of the biggest office developments in the city), and just across the street from Snyder's project, which replaces an old parking lot, Camden is working on a seven-story, $140M mixed-use project.
