Hayley Blockley SVP, JLL

Since joining JLL’s Downtown LA office two years ago in office leasing, Hayley Blockley and team have completed 90 deals totaling more than 3M SF and worth nearly $450M. Focusing on deals involving tenants in the creative sector, she's leasing several major projects, including Kilroy’s Columbia Square in Hollywood and Brookfield’s Gas Company Tower in DTLA. She's especially proud of the success they've had in fully leasing 370k SF adaptive-reuse campus The Reserve in Playa Vista this year. The Montana State University film and photo major first got into real estate 10 years ago after being hired as a temp by now-partner and mentor Carl Muhlstein at Cushman & Wakefield. Her advice to young women: Be passionate about what you do and see where you can add value. Find your differentiator, and make your career your lifestyle by always learning and growing. Hayley is mother to a 2-year-old and is seven months along with her second. “It’s been interesting navigating the business of real estate and motherhood. I’m trying to figure out how to have it all,” she laughs. She’s also a member of the MSU alumni council and the Los Angeles Commercial Realty Association.
