Equinox is breezing into Shoreditch with a swish new 31k SF fitness facility in the Stage, a mixed-use development that will open in early 2019.

Equinox Shoreditch will be the brand’s second location in the UK, joining Equinox Kensington. Equinox also recently announced it would add a location in the neighbourhood of St. James’s in the coming years.

Once complete in 2019, The Stage will include new independent retailers, premium offices, luxury homes and an acre of new public space, as well as the excavated and preserved remains of Shakespeare’s Curtain Theatre, a heritage and visitor centre, and displays of artefacts discovered during the dig.

Residents at The Stage’s 412 apartments—whether owner occupiers or tenants—will be entitled to three years’ free membership per apartment.

Equinox Shoreditch will feature five dedicated fitness studios, including a main fitness studio, a yoga studio, a boxing studio, a Pilates studio and a cycling studio equipped for The Pursuit, a new immersive and competitive cycling class. Classes include innovative new workouts like The Cut, a cardio forward boxing class set to the beat of the music, The Pursuit by Equinox, MetCon3, Tabata and others.

The facility will house The Spa@Equinox, The Shop @Equinox and a café. The club will also offer members lounge areas to gather and work, hold meetings or socialise, offering a functional addition to the neighbourhood.
