Charles Darwin Shopping Centre Mobbed By New Leases

Two tenants signed leases at UK Commercial Property Trust’s Charles Darwin Shopping centre, with New Look Menswear, a new name to Shrewsbury, and Costa Coffee. Fashion retailer Yours has also relocated and upsized, while a lease renewal has been secured with The Body Shop.

New Look Menswear signed a 10-year lease of a 4,047 SF unit. This is the brand’s first location in Shrewsbury, and complements its 11 SF womenswear store in Pride Hill Shopping Centre.
 
Costa Coffee has taken a 2,528 SF ground-floor unit, which was previously occupied by Yours. The unit will be the chain’s second outlet in Shrewsbury. Simultaneously, Yours will relocate to the west end of the midlevel mall, where it has signed a lease for a 3,766 SF unit where it will trade under both its Yours ladieswear and Rhino menswear brands.

The Body Shop renewed its lease and committed to another five years. The store is at the entrance of the Charles Darwin Shopping Centre, with a return frontage to Shrewsbury’s High Street, Pride Hill, and comprises 2,658 SF.
