| Thursday night was also the Friends of the Hudson River Park's annual gala, where Skanska received the “Friend of the Park” award in recognition for its management and redevelopment of multiple projects in Hudson River Park, including large sections of Clinton Cove; Pier 95 and 96; the boathouse at 56th Street; and Piers 64, 84, and 86; and for its commitment to NYC public spaces. Here, the Durst Org. chairman Douglas Durst presents the award to Skanska's James Robinson. The event, which included a preview reception in the soon-to-open Chelsea section of Hudson River Park at 22nd/23rd Streets and dinner at the Martha Stewart Living Omnimedia HQ in the Starrett-Lehigh Building, raised over $580k. |
