GRUBB PROMOTES SWINGLE, ARENA

Congrats to Grubb & Ellis’ Joseph Swingle, recently appointed to executive managing director of the New York office, succeeding David Arena, who’s been promoted to chairman of the Tri-State region. Joe’s a 22-year vet of the firm, where he was exec managing director of global client services since ’04, responsible for managing 1.4k professionals and relationships with corporate facilities management clients occupying more than 100M SF. David’s been with the firm for nearly four years, tripling the company’s properties under management in NY. In his new role, he’s focusing exclusively on expanding the company’s client roster.
