Houston Business Journal's list of the busiest developers is constantly evolving, and this year is no exception. The list ranks developers by the number of square feet delivered in the previous year. This year Houston-based Patrinely Group LLC topped the list, delivering 1.75M SF in 2014. High-profile projects included Anadarko Petroleum Corp's second tower in The Woodlands and Southwestern Energy's new headquarters in Springwoods Village. But with only 250k SF under development, it's unlikely Patrinely will hold the top spot on next year's list. A potential usurper could be Dallas-based Howard Hughes Corp and subsidiary The Woodlands Development Co. It's working on some big projects, the largest being two buildings totaling nearly 650k SF at Hughes Landing (pictured) in The Woodlands. 478k SF have already been pre-leased to Exxon Mobil, which is preparing for an early 2016 move-in date.
