Nora's Home

Satterfield & Pontikes launches work next month on Nora's Home, a 12k SF hospitality facility near the Med Center that'll provide affordable lodging for visiting transplant patients and their families. The Methodist Hospital and Nora's Gift Foundation are partnering to construct the $2.1M facility at 8300 El Rio St. It'll feature 16 private bedrooms and baths, a large commercial kitchen, great room, chapel, garden, community room, education center, and free shuttle to the Med Center. Groundbreaking is in February, and it's slated to deliver in August. The design team: WHR Architects, Walter P Moore, and Affiliated Engineers.
