| Paola tells us that the group started talking a year ago and they realized there was no voice for the Hispanic community in CRE to provide an educational and social platform for networking and creating new opportunities. In the long-term, she says, LACREA would like to establish itself not only as a professional networking association but one focused on community service and mentoring, and it's already been aligning itself with groups like the Hispanic Scholarship Fund.
