H&M's Denton Grand Opening

Weitzman/Cencor CEO Marshall Mills, Donna Arp Weitzman and Weitzman/Cencor executive chairman Herb Weitzman didn’t miss a chance to do some shopping at the grand opening for H&M at Golden Triangle Mall last Thursday. The 23k SF store opened to lines wrapping around the mall, just in time for tax-free weekend. Cencor JVed with MG Herring Group in the ownership and redevelopment of Golden Triangle Mall in Denton. The mall continues to see upgrades as Kay Jewelers recently opened in a new space off center court and JCPenney debuted its completely redone store with a Disney shop. The 765k SF mall also added new restaurants Corner Bakery and Pollo Tropical. Other new fashion tenants include Buckle, Charlotte Russe, Torrid and Zumiez. Over the tax-free shopping weekend, the mall car count was up more than 28% over the same weekend last year.
