Jamba Juice has left California in favor of Frisco's business-friendly, low-tax environment. The smoothie-maker is just the latest in a queue of companies that found Texas the ideal place to expand.
Jamba Juice inked a deal to lease 25k SF in HALL Office Park, a 16-building, 2M SF office park in Frisco. Once complete, the move will relocate the company’s HQ from Emeryville, CA to North Texas.
The new “Jamba Whirl’d Center” will be at 3001 Dallas Pkwy, an eight-story, Class-A office building, and will include approximately 19k SF of office and meeting space, as well as a 6k SF test kitchen and storefront. The center will house the company’s operations, business development, sales and marketing, finance, supply chain, technology and human resources.
The most recent building developed at HALL Office Park, 3001 Dallas Pkwy is surrounded by abundant green space, a more than 200-piece art collection and other onsite amenities. Jamba Juice’s lease brings the office park to 94% leased.
Jamba Juice is just the latest in a slew of companies that have relocated to take advantage of Frisco and Plano's excellent business environment. Other companies who've jumped into Texas include FedEx, Amazon, Liberty Mutual, Toyota, Capital One and JP Morgan Chase.
Cushman & Wakefield’s Robbie Baty and Bill McClung brokered for Jamba Juice. HALL Group’s Kim Butler, Brad Gibson and Tammy Nellis completed the lease on behalf of HALL Office Park.
