Frisco Station Locks In 4 Hotels

NewcrestImage is launching an ambitious and innovative 4-brand, 600-room “lifestyle hotel campus” at Frisco Station, a 242-acre, mixed-use development located in the northwest quadrant of the Dallas North Tollway and Warren Parkway in Frisco

The $5B Mile has everything a North Texan needs with retail, healthcare, urban living and all the recreation you could imagine. Now NewcrestImage will make it that much harder for visitors to leave with its planned four-brand hotel campus at Frisco Station.

The 600-room campus will serve as the anchor for The Hub at the 242-acre Frisco Station. The mixed-use development adjacent to The Star features 55k SF of retail, dining and entertainment, more than 5M SF of office space, more than 2,000 units of multifamily, medical offices and a connection to the trail system.

NewcrestImage will develop an AC Hotel and Residence Inn, each with about 300 rooms, and Canopy by Hilton and Hyatt Place, each with about 150 rooms.

The campus will include a dual- brand AC Hotel and Residence Inn, both by Marriott, featuring about 300 rooms plus a Canopy by Hilton and a Hyatt Place, each featuring about 150 rooms. AC and Canopy are chic lifestyle brands, while Residence is an upscale extended-stay brand and Hyatt Place is a select-service brand.

This project will be one of the biggest undertakings from NewcrestImage since its founding in 2013. AC, Residence and Canopy will break ground in January 2017 with an open date of June 2018. Hyatt Place will break ground later in 2017.

Frisco Station will be developed by the Frisco Station Partnership, comprised of Rudman Partnership, Hillwood Properties and VanTrust Real Estate. Last month, VanTrust said it will develop a 228k SF multi-tenant office building there.
