Texas Health Opens $40M Sports Medicine Facility

Texas Health Southwest Fort Worth has opened its 108,000-square-foot professional office building 2, an extension of the hospital campus that will provide a sports orthopedic surgery center and medical office space for the community.

Texas Health Southwest Fort Worth has opened a $40M expansion providing sports orthopedic surgery and medical office space. The 108k SF, five-story building with a five-story parking garage will feature an outpatient surgery center and an observation deck between operating rooms. That's right, families and visitors can watch surgeries from the observation deck. This expansion comes right on the heels of Baylor Scott & White Sports Therapy & Research Facility at The Star breaking ground last month.

About 15k SF of doctor's office space is available for lease. Skiles Group was the project's construction firm, and HKS Architects was the architect.

After opening a 60k SF professional building in 2014, this is Texas Health Southwest's second expansion.
