General Growth, Simon to Unite and Acquire Macerich Malls?

Malls of the U.S...unite? General Growth Properties CEO Sandeep Mathrani, best known for high-end retail (one example, Water Tower Place, is pictured), is working with Simon Property Group to acquire Macerich.
