McCaffery To Pitch Plans For Fulton Market Office Building Tuesday

McCaffery Interests will seek community support for its planned 150k SF office building in Fulton Market at a public meeting tomorrow night. The meeting will take place at 6 p.m. at Catalyst Ranch, 656 West Randolph.

The proposed seven-story structure at 1201 West Lake St would replace an existing two-story building and include 135k SF of office space, 12k SF of retail and room for 50 parking spaces, DNAInfo reports. The site is two blocks west of the Morgan Street 'L' Station and is near where Sterling Bay is building McDonald's new West Loop HQ.

McCaffery's plans for 1201 West Lake, and another repositioning at 1115 West Lake, are signs that developers are pushing the boundaries of Fulton Market development activity. [DNA]
