Zeller Raises Money for CPS

The managers of 500 N. Michigan wanted to raise money for Chicago Public Schools, so Zeller Group Realty's Janine O'Brienauctioned off 12 pieces of art by CPS students to their friends and colleagues last night. AAR's Greg Dellinger auctioned the items, which raised $5,000. Also on silent auction were Blackhawks tickets and an iPod. Those were not made by students.
 
Reed Construction's Bill Birck and Corporate Conecierge Services'Bill Van Berschot were bidding on items. Bill was excited to tell us he's working on completing interior build-out of three stories at Rush Medical Center's East Tower. They also finished a complete upgrade of Rush's fire protection system over the last two years. Of course, having a safe place to put the art doesn't guarantee you'll be the highest bidder.
