One South Wacker Sells for $345M

The market for downtown office buildings grows hotter with the news John Hancock Realty has acquired One South Wacker. The 40-story, 1.1M SF West Loop building is the latest addition to John Hancock’s downtown portfolio including 55 W Monroe, 191 N Wacker, 200 S Wacker and 150 N Michigan. The deal was in the works for weeks and Hancock paid an estimated $345M for the building, according to Chicago Real Estate Daily. [PRN, CRED]
