| FIELD 2: CBRE 13, MB REAL ESTATE 12. CBRE was about to go under .500 as they faced a three-run deficit and were down to their last out when Pete Marino and Matt Baumann came through with big-time clutch hits. |
| FIELD 3: JLL ONE 10, UGL-EQUIS 9. UGL looked like they were on the way with an eight-zip lead after the third inning. But JLL began chipping away with three in the third, four in the fifth and Andy Serafine knotting it up with a two-run dooblay in the sixth. |
| FIELD 4: TISHMAN SPEYER PROPERTIES 11, CTK PARTNERS 1. It was an old-fashioned beat-down, despite TSP jefe Rob Mason and hurler Casey Wold being absent. |
| FIELD 5: BRADFORD ALLEN 17, INLAND 6. BA finally broke into the win column with a pasting of Inland, ending Inland’s pain after the fifth inning. Perhaps BA’s new leadoff hitter, Brandi Haddock, was the answer as he went 3-4 with three ribbies. |
| FIELD 6: COLLIERS 9, CUSHMAN & WAKEFIELD 3. Hitting stars included Rick Morris, who notched a big HR and went 2-4 with two RBIs, and Mark Bell, who went 1-3 with a triple and three RBIs. But the biggest star was former U. of Michigan national hockey champ Peter Bourke, coming out of retirement and going 2-4 with two huge clutch plays on defense. |
| FIELD 7: MID AMERICA 16, TRANSWESTERN 7. The retailers gave a spanking to the Transfusions, or a “Southern-style beating," as head retailer in charge of the squad, Tom Fritz, opined. Top hitters were Peter Caruso (4/5), Eric Hussey (4/5), and Stephen Ansani, with four infield hits. |
