16" BROKER B-BALL WEEKLY ROUNDUP

Player of the Week: Newmark Grubb Knight Frank senior managing director Michael Bennett, who went 3-3, had three RBIs, including a monster two-run home run and two runs scored, and played well at second base to boot.

Off the field: Michael just closed on a MOB sale in South Bend, Ind. for $26.8M, a single-tenant building on long-term lease. He repped both buyer and seller, a REIT and a private developer.

Postgame Schmooze: Sponsored by STS Solutions, an all-in-one telecom and IT company led by Scott Swayer. As usual, the Karaoke Korral was hosted by Bill Barry of Draper & Kramer.

FIELD 1: KLEIN’S CORPORATE 13, TRANSWESTERN 0

Richard Klein threw his first shutout of the year and backed up terrific fielding and timely hitting. TW didn't play bad at all, but Klein's had two big innings and TW couldn't drive guys in when in scoring position.

FIELD 2: CUSHMAN & WAKEFIELD 7, TISHMAN SPEYER 6
A hotly contested game all the way down the line. C&W has now won three games.

FIELD 3: J.F. MCKINNEY 15, JLL ONE 5
JFM captain Kyle Hanson made his debut on the bump and was backed up by Tommy Koleno at short and Dave Holten at third, who got JLL out of a potential big first inning by turning a double play with bags loaded.

FIELD 4: GOLUB 19, INLAND 3
The Goo team seemed to be resurrecting itself with an onslaught of ringers.

FIELD 5: COLLIERS 10, CBRE 8

Two words to describe the closely fought, extra-inning game: nail biter! Colliers finally beat CBRE in the 9th.

FIELD 6: MID AMERICA 26, MB REAL ESTATE 13

Several MB guys had multiple hits, namely Steve Milenkov, who was 3-4 and a HR short of the cycle. Mid Am is now 4-1, its best start in its short history in DRESL.

FIELD 7: JLL TWO 25, BRADFORD ALLEN 13

JLL2 can finally put a checkmark in the win column, with its offense exploding in route to a win over Bradford Allen. The game was competitive through the first two innings, but when the dust settled from an exciting 5th, JLL was on top.
