Waverly Underway

Crosland Southeast and Childress Klein broke ground this week on the retail component of the master planned Waverly development at Providence and Ardrey Kell roads. The 90-acre multi-use Waverly development will be anchored by a 40k SF Whole Foods, set to open in 2016. Medical office anchor Novant Health, expected to open later this year, will include an urgent care, family healthcare including pediatrics, physical therapy and other services in 22k SF.

Also underway at Waverly: Terwilliger Pappas Multifamily Partners and Federal Capital Partners' Solis Waverly, a 375-unit apartment complex. Terwilliger Pappas region president Tom Barker explains that Waverly's an attractive setting for the apartments, given the appeal of the area and the amenities that are a part of the overall development. Designed by The Preston Partnership, Solis Waverly’s master plan comprises 10 buildings, three of which include elevators.
