Cleveland Company Buys Capital Advisors

Cleveland-based Bellwether Enterprise acquired Charlotte-based Capital Advisors, expanding its footprint into the Southeast. Both are mortgage banking companies. Though the terms of the deal weren't disclosed, the acquisition brings Bellwether’s total annual loan volume to $4.5B and its servicing portfolio to $10.2B, reports the Charlotte Business Journal. Capital Advisors president Cooper Willis says that “day-to-day operations will remain entirely the same.” [CBJ]
