IM Properties said it will launch a 484K SF speculative first phase at the £350M Peddimore industrial and logistics site in Birmingham

IM Properties won preferred developer status for the 160-acre site earlier this spring, and now expects to submit a planning application November, Insider reports.

The scheme could see 2.8M SF of new floorspace at Minworth in a Birmingham industrial market starved of new development.

Work on site could begin as soon as September 2019.

Prologis and Bericote were among the defeated developers hoping to take control of Peddimore.

The site close to junction 9 of the M42 motorway, either side of the A38 Sutton Coldfield bypass, adds to a formidable list of IM Properties schemes in the region including Blythe Valley and Birmingham's The Hub.
