Yesterday at our second annual Healthcare Real Estate Summit in DC, our panelists agreed the only sure thing in the outlook is more uncertainty: Inova Hospital's Pat Walters (here with Adventist HealthCare CEO Bill Robertson, HPRG principal Chuck Feitel, and Northmarq's Jim Kornick) says patient space needs are increasing and construction needs to be flexible to fit new equipment. As a whole, the state of healthcare reform is ?even more unclear? than it was last year, Pat says, mostly because how providers will be rewarded for keeping people out of the hospital has yet to be seen.
