| The suit focuses on whether the state followed procurement laws in replacing two members of the original development group (Doracon Development and Streuver Bros). Plaintiffs allege the new partners were selected without competitive bidding and that public agencies slated to be housed in the development never solicited bids from nearby properties. According to Caroline Moore, CEO of development company Ekistics (which is working on the project), the $1.5B, 2.4M SF development will generate almost 2k jobs and $50M in tax revenues in its first phase . She called delays "unnecessary." Entities listed as plaintiffs include St. Paul Plaza, 301 Charles Street, and 39 W. Lexington. |
