Stocking up on Bisquick this weekend? Consider stopping by ShopRite's new location in Timonium, which has its ribbon-cutting this Sunday. (The 57k SF store is located 37 West Aylesbury Rd.) Village Supermarkets vice chairman Bill Sumas (above, with family) tells us his company signed a long-term lease there because it wants to "become part of the community." He says ShopRite's been in Maryland since 2008, when the Klein family joined the Wakefern Food Corp coop and converted their stores to the ShopRite brand. Plans for new locations? None yet, says Bill, but "we're always looking for opportunities."
