MORE FROM OUR HEALTHCARE SUMMIT

At Bisnow's recent Baltimore Healthcare Real Estate Summit, we snapped LaSalle Investment Management's Shaun Broome, Foulger-Pratt's Curt Morris, LaSalle Investment's Steve Bolen, and WRIT's Steve Carboni, who tells us his firm's Woodholme Medical Office building in Pikesville has reached 97% occupancy with a 15k SF lease with Chesapeake Urology. Speaking of healthy things, herode in the 24 Hours of Booty bike ride in Columbia's Gateway Business Park weekend before last, logging 140 miles, while his wife and three sons (11, 11, and 6) put in a combined 173. Four hundred riders raised $260k for the Ulman Cancer Center for Young Adults and for Livestrong; this event and others in Charlotte, Atlanta, and Indianapolis raised $2M.
We also snapped Mike Anikeeff, director of Johns Hopkins Carey Business School?s Edward St. John Real Estate Program. He tells us JHU has launched a full-time MSRE program at its Dupont Circle campus in DC to complement its continuing ed offerings there. Dan Kohlhepp will direct the one-year, full-time DC track, which is starting with 31 students. It's a solid investment, considering most of JHU's 811 real estate grads are still working in the DC/Baltimore region. (Staying local must make it a lot easier for them to maintain their a capella groups.)
