NorthMarq's Jim Kornick, who's moderating our event this Tuesday, told us yesterday he's got one Baltimore medical office building under contract in an off-market deal and is going to market with another after Labor Day. He says "Baltimore is blessed" with the powerhouse medical systems of JHU and U of M. We caught up with him after a trip to Maine with his wife. They honeymooned up there and have returned every three years or so—and since they've been married 33 years, well, consider him an expert. They took their daughter and three of her college friends on the trip, and now Jim's en route to drop her off for another year at school.
